Q1 2024 Virtual Fitness Apps Performance on Android in the US

Virtual fitness programs have become an integral part of many people's daily routines, and their performance on Android devices within the US during the first quarter of 2024 has seen various trends. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these apps have fared.

Fitness giant Fitbit showed a decrease in weekly revenue from the start of the quarter, beginning at $513K and dipping to around $443K by the end. Downloads and weekly active users also experienced a downtrend, with downloads falling from 33K to 19K and active users dropping from 4.65M to 4.2M.

The onX Hunt: GPS Hunting Maps app displayed a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at $284K and ending the quarter at a higher note with $291K. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at around 22K but concluded at nearly 11K. Weekly active users saw a rise in late January to 94K, but eventually decreased to 74K.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run experienced an upward trend in revenue, growing from $100K to $181K. Downloads saw a significant jump in mid-March with 47K, while weekly active users increased from 231K to 287K by the end of the quarter.

Peloton - Fitness & Workouts revenue saw a mix of highs and lows, starting at $73K and peaking at $99K before settling at $68K. Downloads decreased from 31K to 13K, while active users varied, ending slightly higher at 140K compared to the start of the quarter.

Lastly, JustFit - Lazy Workout showed a positive trend in revenue, climbing from $68K to $92K. Downloads had a mid-quarter surge to 47K but ended at 42K. Weekly active users concluded at 144K, a slight decrease from the starting point of 190K.
